    COOKTOP USE Cooktop Controls WARNING Fire Hazard Do not let the burner flame extend beyond the edge of the pan. Turn off all controls when not cooking. Failure to follow these instructions can result in death or fire. Electric ignitors automatically light the surface burners when control knobs are turned to LIGHT.

    OVEN CONTROL BROIL CLEAN 1. Oven Indicator Lights 2. Oven Temperature Control Indicator Lights The BAKE, BROIL and CLEAN indicator lights will come on when that setting is selected. For example, when the BAKE pad is pressed, or when the knob is turned to BAKE (on some models) the BAKE indicator light will come on.

    Broiling Broiling uses direct radiant heat to cook food. Changing the temperature when broiling allows more precise control. The lower the temperature, the slower the cooking. Thicker cuts and unevenly shaped pieces of meat, fish and poultry may cook better at lower broiling temperatures. Use only the broiler pan and grid provided with the range.

Failure to follow these instructions can result in burns. IMPORTANT: The health of some birds is extremely sensitive to the fumes given off during the Self-Cleaning cycle.

    PORCELAIN-COATED GRATES AND CAPS Food spills containing acids, such as vinegar and tomato, should be cleaned as soon as the cooktop, grates and caps are cool. These spills may affect the finish. To avoid chipping, do not bang grates and caps against each other or hard surfaces such as cast iron cookware.
