  • Page 4: The Anti-Tip Bracket

    The range will not tip during normal use. However, the range can tip if you apply too much force or weight to the open door without having the anti-tip bracket fastened down properly. A child or adult can tip the range and be killed. Connect anti-tip bracket to rear range foot.

    Cooktop Controls WARNING Fire Hazard Do not let the burner flame extend beyond the edge of the pan. Turn off all controls when not cooking. Failure to follow these instructions can result in death or fire. Electric igniters automatically light the surface burners when control knobs are turned to IGNITE.

    Control Lock The Control Lock shuts down the control panel pads to prevent unintended use of the oven. When the control is locked, only the ACCUSIMMER™, CLOCK SET, OVEN LIGHT (on some models) and TIMER pads will function. To Lock/Unlock Control: Before locking, make sure the oven and Timer are off.

    Split Oven Rack (on some models) Split-Rack with Removable Insert The split-rack with removable insert is a space maximizer. When the two are attached, they make a full rack. The insert can also be removed to provide room for large items such as a turkey and casseroles.
