  • Page 17 AKING ROASTING CONT Set the temperature (optional). Do this step if you want to set a temperature other than 350°F. Press to raise the tempera- ture or to lower the temperature in 5°F amounts. Use these pads until the desired temperature shows on the small display.
  • Page 18 USING YOUR RANGE AKING ROASTING The AccuBake system electronically regulates the preheat time and temperature to maintain a precise temperature range for the best cooking results. The preheat and set temperatures may be different at the end of the countdown. This is normal.
  • Page 19 DJUSTING THE OVEN TEMPERATURE CONTROL Although your new oven is properly adjusted to provide accurate temperatures, it may cook faster or slower than your old oven. If you are not satisfied with the baking/roasting results, you can change the offset temperature by following the steps below.
  • Page 20 USING YOUR RANGE ROILING NOTES: • Do not preheat when broiling, unless your recipe recommends it. • Leave the door partly open whenever you use the oven to broil. This lets the oven stay at the proper temperatures. • See “Broiling tips” later in this section. Place the rack where you need it.

  • Page 23 SING THE ELECTRONIC The electronic MEALTIMER control will turn the oven on and off at times you set, even when you are not around. Delayed time baking/roasting is ideal for foods that do not need a preheated oven, like meats and casseroles.

  • Page 28 USING YOUR RANGE HE ANTI TIP BRACKET The range will not tip during normal use. However, the range can tip if you apply too much force or weight to the open door without the anti-tip bracket fastened down properly. A child or adult can tip the range and be killed. Connect anti-tip bracket to rear range foot.
  • Page 29 HE STORAGE DRAWER Use the storage drawer to store cookware. You can remove the drawer to make it easier to clean under the range. Be careful when handling the drawer. Removing the storage drawer: Empty the drawer before you remove it. Pull the drawer straight out to the first stop.
  • Page 30 SING THE The Self-Cleaning cycle saves you from the toil and mess that often come with hand-cleaning the inside of the oven. Like the other functions of your range, you run the Self-Cleaning cycle with the easy-to-use controls. Please review the instructions in this section to keep your oven spotless. Do not touch the oven during the Self-Cleaning cycle.

    ETTING THE CONTROLS NOTE: Make sure the clock is set to the correct time of day. (See “Setting the clock” in the “Using Your Range” section.) To start cleaning immediately: Press the auto clean pad. This will automatically set a 3 Self-Cleaning cycle.
  • Page 32 USING THE SELF-CLEANING CYCLE ETTING THE CONTROLS To delay the start using delay start time: Press the auto clean pad. This will automatically set a 3 Self-Cleaning cycle. NOTE: There will be a 30-minute cool-down ⁄ hour before the cycle is over. Set the cleaning time (optional).
  • Page 33 ETTING THE CONTROLS After the Self-Cleaning cycle starts: The door will lock as soon as the oven starts to heat up. After the Self-Cleaning cycle ends: LOCKED goes off and the door unlocks. NOTE: The stop time will be the start time plus the cleaning time.
  • Page 34 USING THE SELF-CLEANING CYCLE OW THE CYCLE WORKS The Self-Cleaning cycle uses very high heat to burn away soil and grease. During the cycle, the oven gets much hotter than it does for normal baking or broiling. This high heat breaks up the soil or grease and burns it away.

  • Page 40 CARING FOR YOUR RANGE LEANING THE CERAMIC GLASS COOKTOP Your cooktop is designed for easy care. However, you need to maintain your ceramic glass cooktop differently than you would standard electric open- coil elements. Foods spilled directly on the cooktop will not burn off as on open-coil elements.
  • Page 41 LEANING THE CERAMIC GLASS COOKTOP Steps to follow: You can wipe off most spills easily using a paper towel or clean, damp sponge as soon as the Hot Surface Indicator Light goes off. For stubborn spills, rub the Cooktop Polishing Creme into cooked-on soil using a paper towel.

However, if you have to remove the door follow the instructions in this section. NOTE: If the door removal pins included in the Anti-Tip Bracket Package are not available, nails or screws may be used.
