ASSEMBLING AND ADJUSTMENTS

Connect the machine

General
NOTICE! Ensure vacuum is set to OFF position prior to
turning on power supply.
• The machine should be connected to an earthed outlet
socket. See instructions in the section "Operation".
Dry use
• Fit a plastic bag over the collection cone.
• Connect the grinder's hose from the tool to the vacuum
hose inlet on the machine.
• Connect the power plug from the grinder to the power
outlet on the dust extractor.
• Connect the power plug to the outlet.

Operation (Slurry management)
CAUTION! It is strongly advisable that all
!
operators use a dust mask/respirator when
removing primary filter socks from the
machine.
The Husqvarna DC 5500 can also be used for collection of
wet materials such as slurry formed from the wet grinding
process.
In order to use the machine for slurry collection, simply
remove the primary filter socks from the unit.
• Undo the filter link hose coupling.
• Release the primary filter housing toggle latches and fold
down the silo.
• Release the primary filter toggle latches.
• LIft out the primary filter.
