9. Loosen the 2 ball joints from the hydrostatic
transmission cable.
10. Pull out the hydrostatic transmission cable.
9.5.11.2 To adjust the hydrostatic transmission cable
1. Remove the transmission cover. See
covers on page 20 .
2. Make sure the front ball joint on the rod is attached
to the second hole from the top on the rear
transmission lever.
3. Disconnect the ball joint from the hydrostatic
transmission cable by removing the lock spring.
4. Make sure that the forward pedal is fully pushed.
5. Bend the arm to fully and do a check that the ball
and the ball socket in the ball joint align.
6. Adjust the ball socket on the cable until it is correctly
above the ball on the lever arm.
Note: Make sure the that locking spring goes
through the two holes in the ball socket.
7. Turn the ball socket two more times.

8. Assemble the ball joint and the locking spring for the
ball joint.
9. Tighten the locknut for the ball socket on the cable.
10. Attach the transmission cover.
9.5.11.3 To assemble the hydrostatic transmission cable
1. Attach the front link joint onto the new hydrostatic
transmission cable (A) and tighten the locknut (B).

2. Push the new cable through the frame in the same

3. Push the cable sheath into the front bracket below
the frame tunnel cover.
4. Attach the front cable clamp for the hydrostatic
transmission.
5. Push the ball joint onto its bracket and attach the
locking spring.
6. Attach the ball joint onto the rear part of the
hydrostatic transmission cable. Turn the ball joint
10-12 turns until the ball joint is the correct length.
7. Pull the hydrostatic transmission cable along the
other cables.
