7. Remove the control unit (C) and the battery
connector (D).

8. Remove the motor cables.
9. Loosen the holder (A) first and then the holder (B)
on the wire bracket and remove the control cable.
A
CAUTION: Do not cause damage to the
seal.
10. Make a note of the Husqvarna identification number
(HID) of the new control unit before you install it.
You can find the identification number on the new
control unit.
11. Install in the opposite sequence. When you install
the control cable, refer to
control cable on page 16 .

5.6.1 To remove and install the control cable
1. Remove the wear guard below the battery housing.

6. Remove the main switch. Refer to

7. Remove the control unit. Refer to

8. Loosen the holder (A) first and then the holder (B)
on the wire bracket and remove the control cable.

CAUTION: Do not cause damage to the
seal.
9. Install in the opposite sequence.
Note: Put the wire above the control unit and in the
groove in the control handle. Push in the wires fully.
