Charging a battery

Insert the terminal end of the battery into the battery charging slot.
R Insert the battery so that the battery label and the yellow tab are facing up,
and the terminals on the battery line up with the terminals inside the battery
charging slot.

Lower the battery into the battery charging slot.
R You can confirm the charging status by observing the cradle's indicator.
Note:
R The AC adaptor must be connected to the cradle in order to charge the battery.

Troubleshooting

If you experience any trouble while using the cradle, refer to the following
information for basic troubleshooting. If the trouble persists, contact your technical
support representative.
The unit does not
charge.
The cradle's indicator
does not light.

R The unit is not properly docked. Make sure it is
inserted properly.
R The AC adaptor is not connected to the power
outlet. Connect it.
R The bus connector terminals are dirty. Clean the
terminals.
R The battery is not properly inserted. Make sure it
is inserted properly.
R The AC adaptor is not connected to the power
outlet. Connect it.
R The battery charging terminals are dirty. Clean
the terminals.
R The battery may be worn out. Replace the battery
with a new one.
