Touchpad cable (included in Cable Kit)
Before removing the touchpad, follow these steps:
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly
2. Remove the bottom cover
3. Remove the battery (see
Remove the touchpad:
1. Disconnect the cable from the ZIF connector on the touchpad (1).
2. Remove the protective shielding from the top of the touchpad.
3. Remove the six Phillips M2.0 × 2.0 screws (2) that secure the touchpad to the computer.
4. Remove the touchpad from the computer (3).
Reverse this procedure to install the touchpad.
