4.6 Connecting the Server to the Mains
The server is either equipped with an integrated power supply unit or with one
or two hot pluggable power supply units.
If it has a single hot pluggable power supply unit, a second power supply unit
can be added during operation to achieve a redundant power supply. If one
power supply unit is defective, the other then guarantees unimpaired operation.
Each hot pluggable power supply unit can be replaced during operation (see
"Hot-plug power supply units" on page

CAUTION!
The server is automatically set to a mains voltage in the range of
100 V - 240 V. You may only operate the server if its rated voltage range
corresponds to the local mains voltage.
