    BEFORE USING FOR THE FIRST TIME 1. Carefully unpack Griddle. 2. Remove Temperature Control Probe (DO NOT IMMERSE TEMPERA- TURE CONTROL PROBE IN WATER), wipe with a damp cloth and dry thoroughly. 3. Remove Drip Tray. Wash Griddle and Drip Tray in soapy water; rinse and dry thoroughly.

    USER MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS This appliance requires little maintenance. It contains no user service- able parts. Do not try to repair it yourself.
