    IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed including the following: Read all instructions. To protect against risk of electrical shock, do not put cord, plugs, or the appliance in water or other liquid. This appliance should not be used by children and care should be taken when used near children.

    ADDITIONAL IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS All users of this appliance must read and understand this Owner’s Manual before operating or cleaning this appliance. The cord to this appliance should be plugged into a 120V AC electri- cal outlet only. Do not leave this appliance unattended during use. If this appliance begins to malfunction during use, immediately turn the unit OFF by releasing the Speed Control Button and unplug the cord.

    BEFORE USING FOR THE FIRST TIME CAUTION: Do not touch the Blades with your fingers. The Blades are very sharp and can cause injury if touched. Carefully unpack the Blender Body and all accessories. Wash the Mixing/Measuring Beaker, and Blender Stick in warm soapy water.

    OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS CAUTION: Always unplug Blender Body from outlet before installing or removing the Blending Stick. USING THE BLENDING STICK The Hand Blender is perfectly suited for preparing sauces, soups, baby food, mayonnaise as well as milkshakes, mixing drinks and diet food. Be sure Blender Body is unplugged.

    USER MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS This appliance requires little maintenance. It contains no user serviceable parts. Do not try to repair it yourself. Any servicing requiring disassembly other than cleaning must be performed by a qualified appliance repair technician. TO CLEAN CAUTION: Never immerse the Blender Body in water or any other liquid. Always unplug the unit before cleaning.

    LIMITED ONE-YEAR WARRANTY Warranty Coverage: This product is warranted to be free from defects in materials or workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the original pur- chase date. This product warranty is extended only to the original con- sumer purchaser of the product and is not transferable.
