When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed including the following: • Read all instructions, including these important safeguards and the care and use instructions in this manual. -
Page 3: Electricity Precautions
Allow to cool before putting on or taking off parts and before cleaning. • Always ensure kettle is switched to “OFF” position before removing from the power base. • A short power-supply cord is provided to reduce risks resulting from becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord. -

Close supervision is always necessary when any appliance is used by or near children. • Do not allow children to operate or be near the Kettle, as the outside surfaces are hot during use. • Do not allow cord to hang over any edge where a child can reach it. Arrange cord to avoid pulling, tripping or entanglement. -
Page 5: Cleaning Your Kettle
• We recommend the use of vinegar for decalcifying. Fill kettle to the MAX level mark using ½ white household vinegar and ½ water. Plug unit into electrical outlet, switch to “ON” position and allow the kettle to fully heat and shut off automatically. Dispose of “vinegar” when complete. -
