A garbled message appears on the text-based setup screen during Windows installation and
Windows installation cannot be continued.
Are several Hard Disk Drives connected? Or did you try to install Windows with the several Logical
Drives created under the RAID Controller?
 Remove the Hard Disk Drives other than the Hard Disk Drive on which to install the OS once and
then install Windows.
 If you want to install Windows on a disk under the RAID Controller, install the OS using the
EXPRESSBUILDER DVD. If important data is still on a Logical Drive, be sure to make a backup
copy of it before installation. If you want to create several Logical Drives, create additional
Logical Drives with the RAID System configuration utility after installing Windows.
