Thank you for selecting the WESLO 725 elliptical exerciser. The MOMENTUM 725 elliptical exerciser is designed to make your workouts at home more effective and enjoyable. For your benefit, read this manual carefully before you use the elliptical exerciser. If you have ques- tions after reading this manual, please see the front cover of this manual.
To hire an authorized service technician to assemble the elliptical exerciser, call 1-800-445-2480. Assembly requires two persons. Place all parts of the elliptical exerciser in a cleared area and remove the packing materials. Do not dispose of the packing materials until assembly is completed. Assembly requires a Phillips screwdriver 1.

3. While another person holds the Upright (3) near the Frame (1), connect the Upper Wire (75) to the Reed Switch Wire (67). Next, connect the Resistance Cable (12) to the Lower Cable (70) in the following way: See drawing A. Pull up on the metal bracket (A) on the Lower Cable (70), and insert the tip of the Resistance Cable (12) into the wire clip located inside the metal bracket.

molded into its bottom surface. Attach the Right Pedal (63) to the Right Pedal Tube (64) with two M8 x 1 9/16" Hex Bolts (41), two M8 Washers (52), and two M8 Nylon Locknuts (57). Attach the Left Pedal (not shown) to the Left Pedal Tube (not shown) in the same way.
HOW TO MOVE THE ELLIPTICAL EXERCISER To move the elliptical exerciser, stand in front of it, place one foot against one of the wheels, and firmly hold the upper end of the upright. Pull the upright for- ward until you can move the elliptical exerciser on the wheels.

HOW TO ADJUST THE RESISTANCE As you exercise, you can adjust the resistance of the pedals with the resistance control on the upright. To increase the Control resistance, turn the con- trol clockwise; to decrease the resistance, turn the control counter- clockwise.
4. Measure your heart rate, if desired. If there are sheets of clear plastic on the metal contacts of the handgrip pulse sensor, peel off the plastic. Place your hands on the handgrip pulse sensor, with your palms on the contacts. Avoid moving your hands.
WARNING: Before beginning this or any exercise program, consult your physician. This is especially important for persons over the age of 35 or persons with pre-existing health problems. The pulse sensor is not a medical device. Various factors may affect the accuracy of heart rate readings.
