GENERAL OPERATING FEATURES The PS635 is a versatile data recording device designed for collection, storage and transfer of phone- related call records or other types of record-oriented data.
INPUT and OUTPUT PORT CONNECTIONS The INPUT port of the PS635 is a male DB25 RS232 connector. The INPUT port connects to the PBX or other source of call records. The Input port is configured as DTE, similar to a PC serial port. The PS635 Input port only requires connections to Ground and Receive Data to receive data from the PBX.

PS635 General Operation The PS635c has a limited set of commands designed to provide a Compressed Binary Block polling protocol and other PollCat compatible features.
COMMANDS Command: 00 Function: SET DATA PARTITION Sets a partition containing all the records in the buffer at the time of sending the 00 command. Any records received after the 00 command will not be included in the CBB release until a new 00 command is issued.

A test command to allow record to be input to memory via the modem or output port. After the command is issued, any further characters sent to the 635c via the modem or output port will be taken as though they cam in the input port and stored in memory accordingly. FILLUP mode is exited by hitting the ESC key three times.
Other Operational Information Line Tag Mode - This option is always included in CCB release mode. It appends a 6 digit number (from 000001 counting upwards, one for each record) to the front of each record. CCB Release Mode -The 01 command always transmits data using the CBB protocol. There is no option to set this to other release modes.
BATTERY BACKUP OPERATION The PS635 is supplied with a lithium battery. If while connected and running, the AC power source is interrupted, the internal battery will maintain the PS635 database memory until the AC power source is re-established or the battery’s charge is exhausted.
WARRANTY INFORMATION Omnitronix, Inc. hereby warrants that it will, as the buyers sole remedy, repair or replace, at its option, any part of the Poll-Safe Model PS635 which proves to be defective by reason of improper materials or workmanship, without charge for parts or labor, for a period of 12 (twelve) months. This warranty period commences on the date of first retail purchase, and applies only to the original retail purchaser.
