The features of this product are briefly described below.

Features

The N8406-051F 10Gb Intelligent L3 Switch and the N8406-052F 10Gb Intelligent L3 Switch are Switch Modules
for the Blade Enclosure. These Switch Modules are used to connect the CPU Blade with the external network
through the Ethernet port.
The N8406-051F 10Gb Intelligent L3 Switch has 16 ports dedicated to CPU Blade, 4 ports dedicated to
communications between two Switch Modules that are inserted in adjacent Switch Module slots, 8 uplink ports,
and one port dedicated to management network. 8 uplink ports can be fiber using optional N8406-024F
1000BASE-SX SFP Module, N8406-037F 10GBASE-SR SFP+ Module and copper using optional N8406-039F
1000BASE-T SFP Module. Four of eight uplink ports are exclusion use for interlink ports.
The N8406-052F 10Gb Intelligent L3 Switch has 32 ports dedicated to CPU Blade, 4 ports dedicated to
communications between two Switch Modules that are inserted in adjacent Switch Module slots, 16 uplink ports,
and one port dedicated to management network. 8 uplink ports can be fiber using optional N8406-024F
1000BASE-SX SFP Module, N8406-037F 10GBASE-SR SFP+ Module and copper using optional N8406-039F
1000BASE-T SFP Module. Other 8 uplink ports can be fiber using optional N8406-053F 40GBASE-SR SFP+
Module.
