Setting the cutting length

♦ To set the various cutting lengths, press and hold the release button on the slide
switch
read on the side of the appliance.

Cutting hair

NOTE
► The hair to be cut should be clean and dry.
► Comb the hair carefully to remove any knots.
► Place a hairdressing cape or a cloth around your neck and throat to stop
hair trimmings from falling inside your collar.
► Start by setting the cutting length attachment (
and reduce this in stages while cutting the hair.
► Please note that the corresponding cut length will only be achieved if the
appliance is being held at right angles to the skin surface.
♦ Switch the hair and beard trimmer on by pressing the ON/OFF switch
♦ Run the hair and beard trimmer slowly through your hair.
