S If engine does not stop, move choke to the FULL CHOKE position. Engine Choke Lever ON/STOP Switch HALF FULL HOW TO START YOUR UNIT WARNING: The trimmer head will turn while starting the engine. Avoid any con- tact with the muffler. A hot muffler can cause serious burns. - Page 6 To stop engine: S Release the throttle trigger. S Push and release the engine ON/STOP switch. TRIMMER LINE ADVANCE The trimmer line will advance approximately 2 in. (5 cm) each time the bottom of the trimmer head is tapped on the ground with the engine running at full throttle.
