USING RINSE AID
Filling the rinse aid reservoir
When the Rinse aid Refill indicator lights up on the control panel, refill with rinse aid.
Your dishwasher has been designed to use liquid rinse aid only.
Using a powdered rinse aid will clog the reservoir opening and cause the dishwasher to
malfunction.
Rinse aid improves the drying performance of the dishwasher.
CAUTION: Do not add regular detergent to the rinse aid reservoir.
1. Remove the rinse aid reservoir cap by lifting up the handle.
Adding rinse aid to tablet detergents will improve drying
performance.
2. Fill the rinse aid reservoir with rinse aid.
Use the viewing port when filling the rinse aid reservoir.
CAUTION: Do not fill the reservoir above the maximum
level. Excess rinse aid can overflow during the wash cycle.
3. Close the cap after all.
ADJUSTING THE AMOUNT OF RINSE AID
You can adjust the amount of rinse aid by following the sequence below. A better drying performance is
achieved by setting the higher number.
1. Switch on the dishwasher.
2. Press the Express button for fi ve seconds, within 60 seconds from turning on the dishwasher.
(same as the Softener setting mode)
3. Press the Delay start button to enter the Rinse aid setting mode.
4. The LCD shows the present rinse level. (between d1~d5)
5. Press the Express button to select the amount of rinse aid you want. the sets will change in the
following sequence; d1  d2  d3  d4  d5  d1. (The default level is d4.)
6. Select the amount of rinse aid and wait 5 seconds to complete the setup.
