Electrobrush operating instruc-
tions
Your vacuum cleaner is equipped with
an Electrobrush as standard. Please
read the separate operating instructions
supplied with the Electrobrush before
using it for the first time.
Connection
Attaching the suction hose
(dia. 01 + 02)
 Insert the hose connector into the
suction opening on the vacuum
cleaner until it clicks into position. To
do this, line up the guides on the two
pieces.
 If you want to separate the pieces
again, press the release catches at
the side of the hose connector, and
pull the hose out of the suction open-
ing.
Connecting the Comfort handle to
the telescopic tube (dia. 03)
 Insert the Comfort handle into the
telescopic tube until it clicks into pos-
ition.
 Press the release button to separate
the individual sections from each
other.

tube to the Electrobrush (dia. 04)
 Insert the telescopic suction tube into
the Electrobrush until it clicks into po-
sition.
Connecting the telescopic tube to
the floorhead (dia. 05)
 Push the telescopic tube into the
floorhead and turn it clockwise or
anti-clockwise until it clicks into posi-
tion.
 To detach the floorhead from the suc-
tion tube press the release button
and pull the suction tube away from
the floorhead, twisting it slightly as
you do so.
Activating the timestrip® filter
change indicator on the exhaust filter
The timestrip® filter change indicator
shows the remaining functional life of
the exhaust filter.
 Press the release catch for the dust
compartment lid and raise the lid as
far as it will go (dia. 06).
 Remove the indicator strip (dia. 07).
 Press the timestrip® filter change in-
dicator on the exhaust filter (dia. 08).
After approx. 10–15 seconds, a thin red
line will appear in the left-hand side of
the display (dia. 09).
 Close the dust compartment lid se-
curely, making sure it clicks into posi-
tion. Take care not to trap the dust-
bag when doing so.
