    This unit is designed to operate on AC household current or DC (batteries). Use the AC polarized line cord included with the unit for operation on AC power. Insert one end of the AC line cord into the AC power jack on the rear of the unit and the other end (with the 2 blades) into a conve- niently located AC outlet having 120V, 60Hz.
  • Page 11 CHANGING THE DISNEY FACEPLATE Press the Open/Close Area to open the CD Compartment. Gently pull the lid off. Press in on the two tabs inside the CD door. Remove the faceplate which located at the top of the CD door.

Make sure the faceplate or photograph are located inside the positioning edge.     LISTENING TO THE RADIO Press the POWER button to turn the unit on. Rotate the TUNING control to select a station. When an FM stereo station is tuned in, the FM stereo indicator will appear in the display. If the station is not broadcast in stereo or the reception is not strong enough, the FM stereo indi- cator will not appear in the display.

    OPERATION (CONTINUED) TO PLAY A CD Press the POWER button 1 to turn the unit on. Slide the FUNCTION switch 2 to the CD position to select CD. Press the PLAY/PAUSE (®p) button 1 to start playback on the first track; will appear in the display.
  • Page 15 OPERATION (CONTINUED) TO PLAY A CD (CONTINUED) When the disc is through playing, it will stop rotating. Press the STOP (I) but- ton to stop the disc before it is finished. NOTES: • If a disc is inserted incorrectly, dirty or damaged, it will not play, "00" will appear in the display.
  • Page 16 OPERATION (CONTINUED) TO PROGRAM THE MEMORY (UP TO 30 TRACKS) With the power on and the unit in the Stop mode, press the PROG button; “PRG” and “01” will blink in the display. Press the PROG button again; the selected track has now been pro- grammed and counted as program 1.
  • Page 17 OPERATION (CONTINUED) NOTES ON PROGRAMMED PLAY: • Programming is the ability to preselect the order in which a series of tracks will be played. • Each track may be stored in the program memory as many times as desired. • As each track is played, its track number will be displayed.
