BEFORE THE FIRST USE Before using the vacuum cleaner the cleaner needs to be charged at least 20 hours. To extend the life time of this appliance the battery may be recharged after every use. NEVER FULLY DISCHARGE THE BATTERY. Before using or cleaning the hand vacuum cleaner, please always unplug the charger and take the unit out of the charger. - Page 8 USING THE CORDLESS HAND VACUUM CLEANER 1. Remove the vacuum cleaner from the charging base. 2. To use the hand vacuum cleaner slide the on/off button forward. 3. To turn the unit off, slide the on/off button backwards. 4. A crevice tool is provided for cleaning narrow, hard to reach places. A dusting brush is provided for cleaning upholstery and furniture.

Slide the vacuum cleaner onto the charging station. Be sure that it is seated all the way in (see FIG. 6). By connecting the vacuum cleaner to the power source, the charging process will begin. The red light on the unit will indicate that the vacuum cleaner is in the charging process. As long as the vacuum cleaner is connected to a power source the red light will stay on. - Page 10 STORING Allow the appliance to cool completely before storing. location.
