Making a call or video call

Slide open the phone.

Key in the number using the keypad.

To delete a digit press the C hard key.
Touch Call or press the

initiate the call. Touch
call.
To end the call press the

TIP! To call with the slide closed. Touch
open the touchscreen keypad. Enter the number
and press Call.
TIP! To enter + for making an international
call, press and hold 0.
TIP! Press the lock/unlock button to lock the
touchscreen to prevent calls being made
by mistake.

Answering and rejecting a call

When your phone rings press the
key to answer the call.
Press Unlock then Silent to mute the
ringing. This is great if you've forgotten to
change your profi le to Silent for a meeting.
From the standby screen touch
to open the address book.
From the list, touch the contact you'd like
to call and select the number to use if you
have more than one saved.
You can use the keypad to enter the fi rst
letter of the contact you want to call.
Touch Call or press the
initiate the call.
TIP! When the slide is closed, touch
open your address book. Scroll using the side
bar or type the fi rst letter of your contact's name
to jump to that section of your contact list.
TIP! To answer a call with the slide closed
touch Unlock and select Accept.
TIP! To reject a call with the slide closed
touch Unlock and select Silent, then
Reject.
