This parameter is to be set when recording an audio signal from the DV IN/OUT terminal.
Specifically, it indicates whether the signals from channels 1 and 2 or from channels 3 and 4 are
to be recorded. (Only available for 32 kHz)

This parameter is used to select the method for adjustment of audio recording levels. Specifical-
ly, both channels can be adjusted while maintaining the same level, or each channel can be ad-
justed independently.

The writing of index at the recording pause point is valid when the AUTO CHAP-
TER (REC PAUSE) item is set to ON.
This button is used to return to the RECORDER MENU (1/2) screen.
Description
: Channels 1 and 2 are to be recorded.
: Channels 3 and 4 are to be recorded.
: Both channels are to be adjusted while maintaining the same level.
: Aspect distinction signal is recorded according to the screen aspect ratio of
the input video.
: Constantly records aspect distinction signal of 4:3 aspect ratio.
: Constantly records aspect distinction signal of letterbox video. (Content at
the top and bottom of the screen is blackened out.)
: Constantly records aspect distinction signal of squeezed video. (Content at
the left and right of the screen is compressed.)
: Index will not be automatically inserted.
: Index automatically inserted.
