First use − Avoid interrupting the charging and dis- charging cycles. • When the capacitance of the recharge- able battery is very low, the display will turn red and the plug icon will blink. • The charging time for fully charging the rechargeable battery amounts to approx.
Operation The indicator on the display will disappear after you have pulled the power supply unit out of the socket or taken the hair grooming kit out of the charging station. Operation Cutting hair • The hair you intend to cut must be dry. • The length of the cut may vary depend- ing on the trimming angle. • It is recommended you begin with a comb adapter for a longer cutting length and then use progressively shorter cutting lengths as you progress with the haircut.

Cutting contours and beards Please note that you can only achieve the cut lengths listed if you hold the hair groom- ing kit at a right angle to the surface of your skin or run it along your skin.
