5.SCSI BIOS - SCSISelect -

The SCSISelect utility software is used for setting this product. To start the utility, no special startup
disk is required. It can be started by a simple keyboard operation while the self-diagnosis program
POST is running.

SCSISelect are used in the following case.
When you set the transfer rate to the value that the SCSI device requires.

When you don't boot up a system from the SCSI device.

This product is delivered with the latest version of SCSISelect utility.
Therefore, the settings windows may be different from those in this
document. In such a case, contact your sales agent for details.
Steps
1.
Start SCSISelect.
2.
Select Configure/View Host Adapter Setting.
3.
Select SCSI Device Configuration.
4.
Change Sync Transfer Rate (MB/Sec) from "160" to the value that the SCSI
device requires.
5.
Save changes and exit SCSISelect.
Steps

2.
Select Configure/View Host Adapter Setting.
3.
Select Advanced Configuration Options.
4.
Change SCSI Controller Int 13 Support from "Enabled" to "Disabled:scan".
5.
Save changes and exit SCSISelect.
