Turn on the printer.

Press and hold the Resume/Cancel button until the LED blinks the specified number of times listed in
the table below, and release it. The operation starts.

1. Perform the print head alignment printing
from the printer driver utility.
2. According to the printout, set the optimum
values.
1. Open the print head cover. (The carriage
will move to the ink tank replacement
position.)
2. Press and hold the Resume/Cancel button
for 2 seconds or longer. (The carriage will
move to the print head replacement
position.)
3. Replace the print head.

- Cleaning on arrival flag

- Infrared PnP on/off flag (the flag to
enable/disable Plug & Play installation
of the printer driver for the IrDA I/F)
Both the main and the borderless print
waste ink counters are reset at the same
time.
