Connecting the ONLITE local Extender
The ONLITE local Extender is a module used to extend the ONLITE local SB 128
controller by a further 64 luminaire addresses. Up to three local extenders may be
connected to the second DALI group (B) in order to expand the installation to a maximum
of 256 individually monitored luminaires. In this case, the maximum line length is doubled
(600 m).
Connections of the ONLITE local Extender have to be performed as follows:
• the DALI bus outputs: B-D1/B-D2 coming from the ONLITE local SB 128 controller are
connected to the D1/D2 inputs of the ONLITE local Extender.
• the mains power is supplied to the L and N terminals;
• the outputs D1/D2 of the ONLITE local Extender are available for connecting up to 64
safety and escape-sign luminaires.
