    EEPROM memory back-up, Battery Life displayed on LCD, and a transmit Time-Out Timer (TOT). The HX760S transmitter provides a full 6 Watt of transmit power and also is selectable to 5, 2.5, and 1 Watt to assist the user in ensuring maximum battery life.

    VAC (Type-C plug), and “U” suffix is for use with 230 VAC (Type-BF plug). Note : Before operating the HX760S for the first time, it is recommended that the battery be charged. Please see section “4.1.3 BATTERY CHARGING” for details.

    6.10 MEMORY SCAN The HX760S can be programmed to scan channels from a minimum of 2 chan- nels up to all channels in the marine band. If an incoming signal is detected on one of the channels during scan, the radio will pause on that channel, allowing you to listen to the incoming transmission.

    The S.O.S. STROBE feature utilizes the high-intensity strobe LED on the front of the HX760S as a visual distress beacon. When enabled, the LED blinks the internationally-recognized Morse Code “S.O.S.” message ( ... --- ... ) at a rate of 5 words per minute.

    The optional BH-2 Bluetooth receiving signal to/from the HX760S, with the Bluetooth 7.1 PAIRING Before you use your BH-2 for the first time, the BH-2 and the HX760S must be paired. 1. Make sure that the BH-2 and HX760S is both off.

    7.3.2 OPERATION 1. Press and hold the HX760S’s [ POWER ( )] key for two seconds to turn the transceiver on. “ ” icon will blink on the display. 2. Press and hold the BH-2’s POWER ( ) switch until the BH-2’s LED indica- tor glows red, and the beeper sounds a high pitch tone (approximately three seconds).
