The second car- ton contains the air circulating blower section and the third carton contains the coil cabinet. Unpack all three sections before following the assembly instructions: 1.

    FP1400 Ref. Fig. 5 Combustible mantel installation. The DVHVAC36 is equipped with a 16" x 16" (256 x 256 mm) return air duct connection. Size and install the return air system using industry approved standards that result in a quiet and low static system.

    The gas line connection can be made with properly tinned 3/8" copper tubing, 3/8" rigid pipe or an approved flex connector. DVHVAC36 Certified to ANSI Z21.88-2005 / CSA 2.33-2005 Vented Gas Fireplace Heaters Do not use this fireplace if any part of it has been under water.

    The gas control is equipped with a captured screw type pressure test point, therefore it is not necessary to pro- vide a 1/8" test point up stream of the control. When using copper or flex connector use only approved fittings. When using black iron pipe always provide a union so the gas line can be easily disconnected for burner or fan servicing.

  • Page 14 It is always best to locate the fireplace in such a way that minimizes the number of offsets and horizontal vent length. The horizontal vent run refers to the total length of vent pipe from the flue collar of the fireplace to the face of the outer wall.
