    This fireplace has a piezo ignitor. This sys- tem requires no matches, batteries, or other sources to light fireplace. BLOWER ASSEMBLY (VSGF28PTC) This fireplace has a blower assembly. The blower operates thermostatically and has a variable speed control. The blower circulates heated air from the fireplace into the room.

See page 9 for built-in fireplace installation. Note: The instructions below show assem- bling and attaching brass trim to fireplace.

    INSTALLATION Continued 4. Place hearth base accessory against wall at installation location. Cut an ac- cess hole in hearth top to run gas line to fireplace (see Figure 9, page 8). Make sure to locate access hole so cabi- net mantel will cover it when installed. Note: You can secure base to floor us- ing wood screws.

    INSTALLATION Continued Installation must include an equipment shutoff valve, union, and plugged 1/8" NPT tap. Locate NPT tap within reach for test gauge hook up. NPT tap must be upstream from fireplace (see Figure 17, page 10). IMPORTANT: Install equipment shutoff valve in an accessible location.

    OPERATING FIREPLACE Continued Blower Kit Model GA3650T Series Locate the blower switch by opening the lower louver on fireplace. Blower switch is located at lower left inside louver door. The GA3650T thermostat-controlled blower has a variable speed control with an ON/OFF switch. The blower will start when the thermostat senses a sufficient increase in firebox temperature.

CAUTION: You must keep control areas, burners, and circu- lating air passageways of fireplace clean. Inspect these areas of fire- place before each use. Have fire- place inspected yearly by a quali- fied service person.
