    Throughout this manual, terms such as Standby and Talk Mode are used. Below is the terminology explanation. • Talk Mode - The handset is off the base and talk has been pressed enabling a dial tone. • Standby Mode - The handset is not in use, off the base, and talk has not been pressed. A dial tone is not present.

    One-touch RocketDial Your phone is equipped with “One-touch RocketDial” for instant dialing. It is used to dial the phone number stored in the one-touch RocketDial location (See “Storing a Phone Number in Memory”). To instantly dial the phone number stored in the one-touch RocketDial location, simply press RocketDial.

    • Through the RBRC® program, Uniden makes it easy for you to drop off the used battery at local retailers of replacement nickel-cadmium batteries. You may also contact your local recycling center for information on where to return the used battery.
