Using the DirectLink Mode

To use this feature, you must enter the two handsets into the DirectLink mode first.
To enter the DirectLink mode
• During DirectLink mode, batteries use time when fully charged is as follows:
- Up to 7 hours continuous use.
- Up to 24 hours in the standby mode.
• Placing the handset in the cradle causes the handset to exit the DirectLink mode.
DirectLink call
1) When the phone is in the DirectLink standby mode,
press the DirectLink soft key (example of DirectLink
from handset #1).
2) Select the party by pressing the number keys (1-8).
Your handset will page the other handset.
3) On the receiving handset, press talk or the ANSWER
soft key, or if Any Key Answer is On, press any number

4) When you finish your conversation, press the end key on either handset. Return the
handset to the cradle, or press the CANCEL soft key then the OK soft key to return to
normal mode.
