3) Press [i>/2] to hear the mes-
sage you just recorded or [_]
to exit and return to standby.
Message Alert
The Message Alert feature sounds a short alert tone whenever you have a new message. When a new message is
received and Message Alert is on, the alert tone wilt sound every 15 seconds. Set the Message Alert to on or off by
using MENU. To activate the message alert, see page 56 for details.
When all new messages are played back (see page 58), the Message Alert tone wilt automatically deactivate. The
tone will not deactivate until all new messages are played back. To quickly turn off the Message Alert tone, press any
key on the base.
