Exposure To Radio Frequency Signals Your wireless handheld portable telephone is a low power radio transmitter and receiver. When it is ON, it receives and also sends out radio frequency (RF) signals.

    5 hours. Battery Alarm A Battery Warning Tone sounds when the battery charge is low. The battery icon flashes and RECHARGE BATTERY displays on the LCD. Fast Start Use only the Uniden battery charger supplied with your PCD2000A.

    Battery Memory Effect Rechargeable batteries can develop a “memory” (reduced charge capacity) caused by repeated charge and discharge cycles. Rechargeable batteries that have developed this effect will not operate to their fullest capacity. To Avoid Memory Effect: Operate the unit until the Rechargeable Battery is completely discharged before recharging.

    Power Power ON Press and hold for about one second. Digits, icons, and bars light briefly and then the Wake Up Tone sounds. Power OFF Press and hold until you hear a beep — which is about one second. The phone goes into the Idle Mode.
