    Page 2 Welcome Congratulations on your purchase of an Ultra Start remote vehicle starter with alarm system. Ultra Start remote vehicle starters and alarms will provide years of security, comfort and convenience. To utilize and understand this system to the fullest, please read this manual in detail.

    2WAY REMOTE STARTER/ ALARM Remote Start - Automatic Transmission 1. Press and release button #3. 2. The park lights will flash and the siren will chirp one time. 3. The vehicle will then remote start. The park lights will flash four 1 2 3 times then remain on while the vehicle is running.

    2WAY REMOTE STARTER/ ALARM Reservation Mode- Manual Transmission Only Manual transmission remote starters must be set into Reservation Mode before the remote starter will activate. There are two different ways to place the system into Reservation Mode. The activation type of Reservation Mode is determined when the system is installed.

Note: If installed, the starter disable will activate.

    2WAY REMOTE STARTER/ ALARM Car Finder Mode Car Finder is a feature that can be used to find your vehicle in a 1 2 3 crowded parking lot. 1. Press and release button #4 twice within 3 seconds. 2. The park lights will flash and the siren will chirp five times to draw attention to the location of the vehicle.
  • Page 8 OWNER’S GUIDE Page 8 Siren On/Off When this feature is programmed on the siren will only activate 1 2 3 when the alarm is triggered or if the Car Finder is activated. 1. Press and hold button #4 until the Timer Mode icon begins to flash.

    2WAY REMOTE STARTER/ ALARM Cold Start/Timer Mode Cold Start Mode will start the vehicle at a user selectable start interval or temperature setting. The vehicle can be set to start once every 1, 2, 3 or 4 hours in Timer Mode or to start at 0,-5,-15 or -25 Celsius in Temperature Mode (LT Models Only) for a maximum 12 starts.

    OWNER’S GUIDE Page 10 LCD DISPLAY STATUS CHECK MODE This feature is used to check the status of the system. To check the status press and release Button #4 on the remote transmitter. The remote will display the icons of the active features on the LCD screen.

    OWNER’S GUIDE Page 12 Shock Sensor Programming/ Adjustment Press and hold buttons #1 and #2 for three seconds. The park lights will flash and the siren will three times. While the park lights are on strike the vehicle with the amount of force wanted to 1 2 3 trigger the alarm*.
  • Page 13 2WAY REMOTE STARTER/ ALARM Setting The Time 1) Press and hold buttons #1 and #4 until the minute portion of the 1 2 3 clock begins to flash. 2) To set the minute, press button #3 to increase and button #2 to decrease the minute.

    OWNER’S GUIDE Page 14 Service Mode ATTENTION: TO AVOID SERIOUS INJURY, this remote start system must be set into Service Mode before any under hood servicing is started. Service Mode will prevent the vehicle from starting while the vehicle is being serviced.

    2WAY REMOTE STARTER/ ALARM Diagnostics/ Diagnostics Chart If the remote starter does not activate when button #3 is pressed the park lights will flash a diagnostic to indicate what shutdown input has been triggered. Example when the start button is pressed the park lights flash 3 times slowly. Looking at the chart below this would indicate that the system is in Service Mode.

However, should this product be proven to be defective, within a two year period from the original date of purchase, the manufacturer will, without charge to the purchaser (excluding any charges incurred to have the product delivered to the manufacturer), repair or replace any part of the remote starter and/or alarm which the manufacturer agrees...
