- Page 2 ThermalCapture – Mounting Thank you for buying our product. The following instructions will guide you through the process of mounting ThermalCapture to a TAU core. Please read these instructions carefully before you begin. Step 1: Remove the VPC Module If your TAU Core has a VPC-module, please remove it by loosening the marked screws. The VPC-module and the two screws are not needed in the following process and can be put away.
- Page 3 ThermalCapture – Mounting Step 2: Remove the back cover Remove the back cover by loosening the marked screws. The back cover and the four screws are not needed in the following process and can be put away. Caution: This will also release the main-board of the Tau core. It will be kept in place only by its internal wiring.
- Page 4 ThermalCapture – Mounting Step 3: Apply the new back cover For this step you need the TC Aluminum ground plate and three M1.6x6mm countersunk screws from the screw set. Stick the three screws through the marked holes and apply the back cover to the Tau Core carefully.

- Page 6 ThermalCapture – Mounting Step 4: Mount the ThermalCapture board For this step you need the ThermalCapture board, 2x M1.6x6mm (at blue arrows) and 1x M1.6x10mm (at green arrow) screws, 2 isolating washers (2mm) and the small distance sleeve from the screw set. Stick the screws through the marked holes and apply the distance sleeve to the screw at the green marked position.

- Page 8 ThermalCapture – Mounting Step 5: Apply the back cover For this step you need the TC Grabber USB cover and 4x M1.6x6mm screws from the screw set. Mount the back cover and attach it with the four M1.6x6mm screws. 8 / 9...
