Recoil Starter
Chute Control Handle

Shave Plate
Auger
Choke Lever
Activating the choke control closes the choke
plate on carburetor and aids in starting
engine.
Primer
Pressing primer forces fuel directly into engine's
carburetor to aid in cold-weather starting.
Ignition Key
The ignition key is a safety device. It must be fully
inserted in order for the engine to start. Remove the
ignition key when the snow thrower is not in use.
NOTE: Do not turn the ignition key in an attempt to
start the engine. Doing so may cause it to break.

Throttle
The throttle control is located on the rear of the engine. It
regulates the speed of the engine and will shut off the engine
when moved into the STOP position.
Recoil Starter
The starter handle is used to manually start the engine.
Gasoline Cap
Remove the gas cap to add fuel.
