Model – Alpha DX Antenna
Operating Manual, Version 1.3, June 25, 2018
Overview
The Alpha DX is designed to operate from 10 through 80 meters as a capacity hat antenna. It is
rated at 250W PEP SSB, 100W CW, and 50W Digital.
Operation
The Alpha DX Antenna system is a complete ultra‐portable multiband and multipurpose HF
antenna that fits in an included canvass Field Bag. This system requires no moving clips on coils
or readjusting of whips for tuning. An integrated leveling bubble enables precise spatial
alignment of all elements, which results in equal take‐off angles for your signal. You may also
use an external antenna tuner if your antenna is installed over a poor ground or not placed in
a clear area.
Excess RF Exposure Warning
In the United States, the Federal Communications Commission has established guidelines for
human exposure to Radio Frequency (RF) electromagnetic fields. The commission's
requirements are detailed in parts 1 & 2 of the FCC's rules and regulations {47 CFR, 1.1307(b),
1.1310, 22.1091, 2.1093}. It is the responsibility of the owner/operator of this device to follow
all applicable warnings and precautions regarding human exposure to RF fields. Additional
