Direct serve attachment
(if supplied)
Use the slicing side to slice

vegetables and fruit such as carrot,
potato, cucumber, courgette,
beetroot, onions and apple.
Use the grating side to grate

vegetables such as carrot or potato
and cheese such as Cheddar,
Emmental or Gruyere and foods of a
similar texture.
1 Fit the bowl
then turn clockwise to lock into

Turn and push down if necessary to

6 Cut the food to fit the feed tube.

never put your fingers in the
feed tube.
Reverse the above procedure to
dismantle the unit.
Always unplug the power unit

If the food is not exiting the
food outlet, switch off and
check that food is not
clogging under the disc. Clear
any trapped food before
continuing to process.
Do not run the direct serve

attachment continuously for
longer than 60 seconds.
Leave to cool for 2 minutes in
between each 60 second
operation.

Always use fresh ingredients

Don't cut food up too small. Fill the

width of the large feed tube fairly full.
This prevents the food from slipping
sideways during processing.
There will always be a small amount

Handle the blades and disc

with care - they are extremely
sharp.
Some foods may discolour the

plastic. This is perfectly normal and
won't harm the plastic or affect the
flavour of your food. Rubbing with a
cloth dipped in vegetable oil may
help remove the discolouration.

Wash all the parts by hand, then dry

If the direct serve adaptor is

immersed in water, ensure that all
the water has drained out before
reassembling the attachment.
