  • Page 28 ASSEMBLY Bush Hog RTXG series Tillers are shipped from the factory partially assembled in a shipping crate and requires some assembly before being placed into service. Follow these instructions listed to safely remove the Tiller from the shipping crate and prepare for assembly 1.

    2. Pour the gear oil into the vent plug hole slowly checking the oil level with the dip stick until the oil reaches the full mark on the dip stick. DO NOT OVERFILL THE GEARBOX! 3.   • Page 34 OPERATION BUSH HOG RTXG SERIES TILLER OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS The Tiller is manufactured with quality material by skilled workers. This implement is ideal in horticultural, agricultural, or commercial applications, especially for landscapers, rental yards, vineyards, vegetable farms, and nurseries. The implement is equipped with protective deflectors to prevent objects being thrown from the implement by the blades, however, no shielding is 100% effective.

    Operating this implement in an application for which it is not designed and/or operating the implement with the wrong size Tractor can cause implement component damage and equipment failure resulting in possible serious injury or death.     Never allow passengers to ride on the tractor or attached equipment. Riders can easily fall off and be seriously injured or killed from falling off and being ran over.     NOTE: Make sure the Gearbox is level prior to removing the Inspection Plug. Tilting forward may result in over filling. Tilting back may result in under filling.
