1. Make sure that the control for forward and rearward
movement (A) is in the neutral position.

2. Make sure that the vibration control (B) is in the OFF
position.
3. Set the throttle control to idle speed.
4. Pull the lever for the decompression valve to the
start position.

5. Remove the start handle from the transport position
(A) and put it in the connection for the start handle
(B).

6. Turn the start handle (C) clockwise until the engine
starts.
7. Let the engine operate at idle speed for 2–3 minutes.
8. Set the throttle control to full throttle.
To start the product with electrical start
Do this procedure if the product has an engine with
electrical start.
1. Make sure that the control for forward and rearward
movement (A) is in the neutral position.
2. Make sure that the vibration control (B) is in the OFF
position.
