that the settings here agree with
the settings set in the printer
parameter settings.

3.4.4 Regional Settings Tab

NOTE:
By default, the driver will use
the Regional Settings as
specified in the Windows
Control Panel for settings like
language, measurement system,
and decimal point or comma.
Changing Port Settings - When clicking on the Port Settings button, the
screen that will appear will depend on whether a parallel port (LPT) or a
serial port (COM) is currently highlighted in the Print to the following
port: scrolling text box. For example, if one of the COM ports is highlighted
in the Print to the following port: scrolling text box, then the following
screen will appear to allow changing the settings for that port.
This properties management screen will allow changing the language and
units of measurement to agree with the region in which these printers are
being used. After clicking on the Regional Settings tab the following
display will appear.
