Downloading music from a CD to your
PC

Insert the music CD in the CD-ROM drive of your PC.

Click the "CD Button" on the gigabeat room window.
Information of the music CD appears.

Check the tracks you want to download and click the "Record
from audio CD Button".

Downloading selected music (tracks) starts.
A message "Completed" appears in the progress status display when the
download is completed.

Note
-Clicking the "Ripping" in the "Tool" menu also permits transfers.
-Downloaded tracks are content-protected (supporting Windows Media digital
rights management (DRM)) and saved in a folder created in the music
synchronize folder (>p.54).
-Settings including the tone quality of tracks (bit rate of WMA) to be
downloaded, methods to name files, whether content-protection is disabled or
not can be changed.
