13 Pedal Assembly
13-1 Place a soft blanket or similar on the floor near a wall,
close the CVP-96 keyboard cover, place the front panel
of the CVP-96 (the side of the keyboard) on the blanket
and gently lean the unit against the wall. Making sure
that the unit can not fall. (Fig. 17)
13-2 Remove the rear leg unit. (See procedure 12-2)
13-3 Remove the eight (8) screws marked [40D]; remove
the pedal assembly. (Fig. 19)

14 Disassembling the Keyboard

After inserting a round stick or similar material
between the frame and keys, remove the circuit
boards.
14-1 Take the keyboard assembly out of the main unit.
(See procedure 8)
14-2 Remove the AEXL88L circuit board by removing the
seven (7) screws marked [260A]. (Fig. 20)
14-3 Remove the AEXL88H circuit board by removing the
ten (10) screws marked [260B]. (Fig. 20)

Keys can be removed without removing the
circuit boards.
14-4 Insert a thin plate between white keys near the triangle
mark around the fulcrum of the key and press the stopper
marked [A] down to remove the key. (Fig. 21)

Take care not to damage the key spring when
removing a key.

A black key can be removed after the white
keys on both sides have been removed.
14-5 After a key has been removed, push the key spring
down once to take it out of the hook. (Fig. 22)
Place the keyboard assembly up side-down and peel
the stopper, then hammer of the white key can be
removed. (Fig. 23)
