Power Options

The machine is provided with the power switch and the main power switch.

After you power on the printer, it takes approximately 3 minutes to warm up before you can start
making copies.
1. Open the cover.
2. Press the power switch to the On position.
The Please wait message indicates that the printer is in the warm-up stage. You cannot use
the printer during the warm-up stage.

Before you power off the machine, ensure that all job processing, copying, and printing is completed.
Ensure that the Data indicator is not illuminated.
1. Press the power switch on top of the printer. The printer powers off.
2. To continue to power off the main power, ensure that the control panel touch screen is blank and
the Power Saver indicator is not illuminated.
3. Open the front cover.
