Important 1,5 m Battery The scales work on a 9-volt battery (not included).We advise you to use a Philips 6LR 61 Alkaline battery on account of its long life and environmental friendliness. Please read the instructions and look at the illustrations before you use the appliance.

Fitting the battery Open the battery compartment. Fit the battery in the battery holder and close the battery compartment. Battery replacement Replace the battery as soon as the BAT indication appears on the display. Batteries contain substances which may pollute the environment.

ENGLISH Weighing in the bowl that comes with the scales Press button I to switch the scales on. The display switches on after 3 seconds. Push button 3 and the display will read 0. Put the empty bowl on the weighing plate. The display will show the weight of the bowl.

ENGLISH Switching off Full memory backup Cleaning You can clean the appliance with a damp cloth and, if necessary, some detergent. Clean the bowl in warm soapy water. Press button I to switch the scales off. If the appliance has not been used for more than 3 minutes, it will switch off automatically to save battery power.
