2. Put the product on level ground.
3. Remove the oil tank cap with the attached dipstick.
4. Clean the oil from the dipstick.
5. Put the dipstick back in. Do not tighten it.
6. Pull the dipstick out and read the oil level.
7. Examine the oil level on the dipstick.
8. If the oil level is low, fill with engine oil and do a

check of the oil level again. Refer to
on page 21 for correct oil type.
9. Tighten the oil tank cap correctly before you start the
engine.
Note: The engine has an oil alert system that stops the
engine if the oil level is too low. The engine cannot be
started unless the oil level is above the prescribed limit.
To do a check of the drive belt
•
Make sure that the drive belt does not have
damages and that you cannot see that it is defective.
•
The belt tension is controlled by the belt tensioner
and is not necessary to adjust.
•
Make sure that the belt tensioner moves freely up
and down.
•
Make sure that the belt tensioner bearings move
freely.
To lubricate the blade shaft bearings
•
Lubricate the blade shaft bearings with 3 pumps of
Lithium 12 based grease.
