Install

Launch Windows Media Player 9 from your Windows desktop.
Insert the included CD into your computer's CDROM drive.
Select your language and follow screen instructions to complete
Send tracks to your player

or WMP 10 for Windows XP) and Philips Device Manager

Click Copy to CD or Device tab.
Use this to troubleshoot your device.

In the Items to Copy pane, show the playlist, category, or other item
that you want to copy.

Clear the check boxes next to any files you do not want to copy.

In the Items on Device pane, show the device that you want to copy files to.
i.e. Philips GoGear.

Connect

Click the Copy button.
Connect the by-packed adapter to your device and to the main
power supply. Connect the smaller end of your USB cable to your
device, the bigger end to your computer's USB port.
Your device will be recognized as a portable device on your
computer. It is now ready to download music tracks.
Ensure your device is connected before opening WMP for best performance.

Transfer music files from your PC to your

device via Windows Media Player.
Philips GoGear as shown in the Items on device pane cannot be
played on your device.
For Windows XP users
How do I reset?
Launch Windows Media Player 10 from your Windows desktop.
If such hang-up happens, do not panic. Simply reset your device as follows:

Re-insert the battery and power up the device.
