• Open the battery door and insert one alkaline battery,
BAND AM•FM
type AAA, R03 or UM4, as indicated in the battery compartment.
• Remove the battery from the set if exhausted or if the set is not to
be used for a long time.
Display
RADIO RECEPTION
1 Set the POWER switch to ON.
2 Connect the headphones to the p socket.
TUNING
3 Set the BAND selector to FM or MW.
4 Select your station using the TUNING control.
FM: The headphone lead functions as the FM-aerial. Keep it
VOLUME
extended and position accordingly.
MW: Uses the built-in aerial. Turn the set to find the best position.
5 Adjust the sound with the VOLUME control.
To obtain the Dynamic Bass Boost, set the POWER switch to
POWER
DBB.
OFF•ON•ON/DBB
6 To switch off the radio, set the POWER switch to OFF.

Hearing Safety:
Listen at a moderate volume. Use at high volume can impair your
hearing!
Traffic Safety:
Do not use headphones while driving or cycling as you may cause an
accident!
MAINTENANCE
• Do not expose the set to rain, moisture, high humidity, sand or
excessive heat e.g. heating equipment.
• Use a damp chamois cloth to wipe dust, dirt and fingerprints from
the set. Do not use cleaning agents or abrasives as these may spoil
your set.
This product complies with the radio interference requirements of the
European Community
The model number can be found at the back of the set and the
production number in the battery compartment.
